ParaISO / Ernesto Oroza

Pernod Ricard Fellow in res­i­dency at Villa Vassilieff from September to November 2016, Ernesto Oroza con­ducted a formal and con­cep­tual inves­ti­ga­tion, named ParaISO (Factogram). In it, the cuban artist and designer explores the ways that, para­dox­i­cally, stan­dard­iza­tion pro­cesses can amplify and spread ver­nac­ular prac­tices, ideas and daily tac­tics. Result of this work, this 32-pages booklet gathers Ernesto Oroza’s texts, pho­togra­phies of pieces and work­shop’s illus­tra­tions.
